Embark on expeditions into the infected zone, strategically deploying squads to explore a dangerous environment littered with remnants of Xenowerk's experimental facilities. Utilize your team's skills, traits, and mutations to mitigate risks and overcome the horrors that await.
Time is of the essence as you push your operatives to their limits. Traverse jungles, swamps, laboratories, shelters, and factories in search of valuable resources. Engage in various missions, secure safe zones, and rescue missing operatives.
Battle hordes of mutants in real-time combat, exercising control over your squad. Harness the unique skills and mutations of your operatives - Frag Grenade, Bait & Trap, Adrenaline, Pyrokinesis, and more - to tip the scales in your favor. Activate Tactical Pause at any time for more precise orders.
Manage your team by recruiting and evolving Marines, Rangers, and Scientists into competent operatives. Choose wisely, as some may acquire risky traits or mutations.
Utilize gathered resources to enhance your base of operations. Upgrade facilities like the Barracks, Recruitment Center, Field Hospital, and Armory. Allocate earnings towards treatments, upgrades, and recruitment.
Cater to the whims of Xenowerk Management to secure continued funding. Earn extra income through discreetly selling off resources on the Black Market. Or perhaps, go against the grain and attempt to save the world...
